Grézan's Guest Bedrooms
Château Grézan is pleased to offer 3 attractive bedrooms each uniquely designed and furnished by myself. I have used my imagination together with my own taste and tradition to create warm and inviting bedrooms. Using a selection of family furniture and traditional French furniture and decorated in the style of the original chateau, each room has a private white bathroom or shower room and wc.
A unique opportunity to stay in the impressive surroundings of an original Château.
Suite of Uncle Eugene and the two sisters.
His portrait was found in the attic as he gazed malevolently from the canvas however his life history has vanished from our family conversation. His only memory now is with our guests. The bright and sunny bedroom is illuminated by large floor to ceiling French doors which lead you out on to a private terrace on the south with views over the ?cour d?honneur?. Spend a relaxing few hours sitting on the deck chairs or write your postcards at the table provided.
The suite is actually two connecting bedrooms. One with a double bed (160cmsx2ms) and one with 2 singles beds (90cms x 2ms) originally for the two sisters. A bathroom with simple white bath, a shower over and wc.
The red bedroom of the Commander
This was formerly the main guest bedroom of the original Château. It remains "dans son jus" and maintains the atmosphere of a bygone age. The window faces west with spectacular views over looking the park. A larger than average double bed is provided for your comfort plus a single child's bed. A spacious bathroom containing bidet, bath and wc is adjacent to the main bedroom.
The paradis of St Jean
An evocative name for a bedroom high up in one of the towers of the main house. This bedroom was formerly the accommodation of the children's maid. Accessed via a circular staircase this room has stunning views over the cour d'Honneur to the south and the park to the west. This bedroom sleeps two with single beds (each 90cms x 200cms) which can be linked together to form a kingsize double. The bedroom has a shower room with wc and washbasin.
Breakfast is an informal meal served served from 9am each morning within the formal surrounding of the ballroom or connecting rooms. The parc and swimming pool are available (weather and season permitting) for guests to enjoy.
For the comfort of all guests and to retain the tranquility of the Chateau, arrival times for incoming guests are between 5pm and 7pm please.
